D Dorian scale

The D Dorian scale is a seven-note scale consisting of the notes D, E, F, G, A, B, and C. The scale corresponds to the D natural minor scale with the sixth degree raised a half step.

The D Dorian scale is a mode of the C major scale. It contains the same notes but starts on the second degree of the major scale.
